Creditors Clerk

In this role, you report to the Accounts Payable Manager, prepare analysis of accounts and will be accurately processing invoices. Act fast and apply today! Duties & Responsibilities

This role involves: Reconciliation of supplier statements to payments and supplier ledger accounts Attending to queries and claims on the supplier reconciliations Liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding invoices, POD’s and supplier related queries Ensuring settlements, discounts or rebates are calculated accurately and deducted where applicable Following up on credit requests, outstanding invoices and statements and credit applications Checking and correcting all store purchases (PO Tools) in an accurate and timeous manner Communicating purchase errors of company in a structured manner Matching and capturing all payments Ensuring all documents are in order and filed correctly Loading authorized amounts for payment on the electronic banking system Utilizing journal entries to accurately transfer all payments or expenses to correct companies by using intercompany loan accounts Creating Provisions and accruals on the accounting records

Skills & Experience: Basic accounting knowledge Experience of creditors processing (minimum 3 years) Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Pastel Partner Experience Strong mathematical skills Problem-solving skills Retail or Restaurant Industry Experience Exposure to Payroll systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software

Qualification: BCom Accounting Bookkeeper experience (advantageous)
