Position Summary
The CIP Analyst supports the United States Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) Mission Assurance program, focusing on Strategic Mobility, Commercial Transportation Networks, Intermodal Connectivity, bulk fuels, and commercial lift.
Supports military and DOD civilian leaders in planning, organizing, and coordinating CIP and MA program requirements with onsite and offsite support and travel as necessary.
Essential Functions
- Lead SME supporting TRANSCOM's Mission Assurance Program development
- Liaison for all CIP and MA related issues
- Support all phases of MA assessments including research, on-site travel, and mission analysis
- Provide MAA 101 training and mentoring to new employees
- Prepare reports, briefs, and products supporting CIP and MA Programs
- Advise client on CIP and MA matters using DoD Mission Assurance and Navy/USMC CIP policy
- Educate client and leadership on MAA value and risks to TRANSCOM assets
- Support MA assessments and mission decomposition
- Develop briefs and information papers on CIP and MA topics
- Participate in exercises and war games providing input on impacts to TCAs and missions
- Assist client with Marine Corps Critical Asset Identification Process
- Ensure timely and actionable TCA information availability to stakeholders
Competencies
- Experience with ETMS2 on NIPRNET and SIPRNET, MARMS, GMAP, Operational Orders, Task Orders, JWICS, and MS Outlook
- Excellent writing, communication, time management, computer, internet, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and editing skills
- Customer service oriented
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with military organizations and protocol desirable
- Knowledge of mission assurance domains including governance, risk management, access control, physical security, business continuity, network security, application and operations security
- Teamwork and leadership abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple SMEs for holistic mission assurance views
- Ability to explain complex subjects clearly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 15 years’ experience within DoW or TRANSCOM
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with mission assurance or protection programs (15 years if no degree)
- Ability to obtain DoD TS-SCI Clearance
- Valid passport with at least 8 months until expiration
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS approximately 25% of the time
- Commitment to drug-free work environment
- U.S. Citizenship
- Valid state driver's license
