About the Role

Our client, a burgeoning digital asset management firm, is looking for a skilled Cryptocurrency Trader to join their team in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, NG. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the fast‑paced world of cryptocurrency markets, leveraging your analytical prowess and market insights to drive profitable trading strategies. You will be responsible for executing trades, monitoring market trends, and managing portfolios to maximize returns while mitigating risks. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of blockchain technology, various cryptocurrency assets, and sophisticated trading techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective cryptocurrency trading strategies across multiple exchanges.
• Execute buy and sell orders for various digital assets, ensuring optimal pricing and minimal slippage.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis, including technical and fundamental analysis, to identify trading opportunities.
• Monitor market news, social media sentiment, and regulatory developments that may impact cryptocurrency prices.
• Manage and optimize cryptocurrency portfolios to achieve financial objectives.
• Analyze trading data and performance metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure compliance with established risk parameters.
• Maintain accurate trading records and prepare regular performance reports.
• Stay updated on emerging cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, and market dynamics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers, and other market participants.

Work Arrangement

• This position requires a balance of in‑office collaboration and remote flexibility.
• While much of the trading can be done remotely, periodic team meetings and strategy sessions will be held at our office in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, NG.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cryptocurrency Trader or in a similar financial trading role.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and various cryptocurrency assets.
• Proficiency in technical and fundamental analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience with major cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
