About the role
Job Purpose
Within the sustainable transport unit, the CSR project officer will be responsible for business watch through the production of monthly business watch deliverables and specific benchmarks, enabling the CSR network to receive essential market information.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct daily business watch on the following topics: customers, competitors, suppliers, low carbon solutions, innovations and technologies, expert viewpoints, global regulation linked to decarbonization
- Prepare the monthly business watch report summarizing the main points from a selection of daily monitoring findings + internal distribution. Present orally at internal decarbonization committee meetings. Conduct a satisfaction survey.
- Conduct a competitive benchmark analysis + key suppliers: climate strategy, KPIs, low-carbon digital solutions and tools.
- Conduct a top 30 client benchmark: climate objectives, KPIs, supply chain decarbonization objectives, actions implemented.
- Conducting the 2027 campaign on the ESG assessment of suppliers – shipping and airline companies: review of the questionnaire and scoring, sending/follow-up, collection and analysis of results.
- Continue work on the statistical analysis of carbon generated by the transport flows of customers and air and maritime carriers.
- Drafting the minutes of the decarbonization committees
Key Working Relationships
The CSR project officer will interact daily with the CSR team within the sustainable transport unit. The apprentice will also have regular contact with regional CSR managers, to whom he will present the results of his work. Furthermore, the CSR project officer will interact with the freight procurement team and potentially the sustainable purchasing department to carry out their mission related to the 2027 ESG questionnaire campaign.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Education & Qualifications:
- Engineering school, IAE (University Institute of Business Administration), or Business school (or equivalent) with a focus on Energy, Environment, Purchasing, and/or Supply Chain
- Master's level or specialized Master's degree
Experience:
- Experience in transportation or CSR (environmental aspect) is a plus
Specialist Knowledge & Skills:
- Comfortable speaking and writing in French and English (Essential)
- Data: comfortable working with data and databases, advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI would be a plus (Desirable)
Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
- Ability to work in a team, good relationship
- Analytical and synthesis skills
