About the role

What You'll Do

As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for inbound customer calls at self-storage facilities. You'll handle everything from answering rental questions to guiding customers through move-ins.

  • Answer inbound calls and assist customers with rental rates, move-in processes, payments, and new rental creation
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and live chat
  • Guide customers to their storage units using facility maps and digital tools
  • Make informed pricing decisions, including voiding payments and prorating rent
  • Use our internal platform Cubby, along with Google Docs and Sheets, to problem-solve and respond accurately
  • Proactively retain customers when they consider moving out
  • Continuously learn our operations and software to serve customers confidently

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Comfortable working from scripts while personalizing your approach
  • Experience with customer support platforms
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms
