About the role
What You'll Do
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for inbound customer calls at self-storage facilities. You'll handle everything from answering rental questions to guiding customers through move-ins.
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with rental rates, move-in processes, payments, and new rental creation
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and live chat
- Guide customers to their storage units using facility maps and digital tools
- Make informed pricing decisions, including voiding payments and prorating rent
- Use our internal platform Cubby, along with Google Docs and Sheets, to problem-solve and respond accurately
- Proactively retain customers when they consider moving out
- Continuously learn our operations and software to serve customers confidently
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working from scripts while personalizing your approach
- Experience with customer support platforms
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience handling high-volume inbound calls
- Familiarity with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms
