I’m currently supporting a major player in the railway infrastructure sector, actively involved in smart rail and digital transformation projects (IoT, data platforms, monitoring solutions), in their search for a Customer Project Manager.
Why this role is interesting:
This is not a standard project management position. You will be at the heart of innovative railway projects combining infrastructure, technology, and data, with real impact on how rail networks are monitored and operated.
Your mission:
You will take full ownership of projects from contract signature to deployment and after-sales, acting as the key interface between the client and internal teams.
Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management (planning, milestones, budget, delivery)
- Coordination of technical experts, field teams and partners
- Management of on-site deployment activities (installation, commissioning)
- Main point of contact for clients in an international environment
- Governance, reporting and stakeholder management (JIRA, Confluence)
- Support after-sales activities and identify improvement opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years experience in project management (industrial, infrastructure, railway or energy sectors)
- Strong experience in project delivery, deployment or installation
- Ability to manage complex environments and multiple stakeholders
- Client-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Fluent English required
Location:
Villeurbanne (hybrid – 3 days on-site after onboarding)
