Senior Data Engineers

About

Our client is an international company in the IT systems sector, specialized in the development of advanced technological solutions and large-scale data platforms. They are currently looking to hire Senior Data Engineers to strengthen their team, with a focus on building modern architectures and end-to-end solutions in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and platforms in cloud environments (AWS).
• Build and maintain modern architectures such as data lake, lakehouse, or data mesh.
• Develop end-to-end solutions, from data ingestion to data consumption.
• Create reusable frameworks for data processing (not just standalone pipelines).
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, and DevOps teams to deliver business solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality policies.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in production environments.
• Take full ownership of projects, from design to delivery.

Requirements

• +5 years of experience.
• Strong experience in:
  • AWS: S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, Lambda.
  • Spark / Scala.
  • Python.
  • SQL.
  • ETL design and data modeling.
• Ability to make technical decisions.
• Experience working on end-to-end solutions.
• Analytical thinking and ability to anticipate scalability issues.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional level of English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions or others).
• Knowledge of Apache Iceberg or similar formats.
• Experience with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ).
• Knowledge of Bash or HCL.

Education required

University degree in a technology-related field (preferably Computer Science or similar).
