Your Role

We are growing and looking for a Customer Solutions & Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Run-Time Support Team and ensure the critical services of the Lobster Data Integration Platform run smoothly.

In this role, you will play a key part in mastering complex technical challenges that affect product services and the reliability of our products. Ready to make a difference?

Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers to quickly get crashed systems back online
  • Investigating the causes of why a system has run into an OutOfMemory error or crashed, and providing solutions to customers to prevent this in the future
  • Troubleshooting system performance and SMB communication issues
  • Providing settings to resolve security issues based on customer penetration test results
  • Direct contact with customers and support with issues regarding system or network configuration

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong technical skills and at least 3 years of proven experience in solving complex Level 2/3 challenges
  • Good knowledge of common network protocols and central network operations activities
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge in some of the following databases would be advantageous: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, and DB2
  • The ability to work efficiently even in stressful situations and remain professional during troubleshooting and when investigating underlying issues
  • German language skills (written and spoken) at C1 level, as well as solid English skills.
