Customer Success Representative (CSR)

About the Role

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading provider of public safety and emergency preparedness solutions to identify a Customer Success Representative (CSR) to support their outside sales team. The CSR will handle inbound customer inquiries, support quoting and pricing requests, assist with product sourcing, and help resolve order-related issues. This position plays an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the success of the outside sales organization in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

This is a fully onsite opportunity in Lanham, Maryland.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer calls/emails regarding orders, pricing, inventory, quotes, claims, and order status
• Support outside sales with quoting, pricing, and bid opportunities
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records in the ERP system
• Track orders from placement through delivery and provide proactive updates
• Source products through existing and new vendors to meet customer needs
• Provide freight estimates, rush requests, and delivery coordination as needed
• Make outbound calls to support customers and outside sales reps
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of quotes and orders
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions
• Assist with inventory processes and other operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Prior sales support experience preferred
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• ERP experience (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and customer-focused mindset
