Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Customer Support Engineer - Structure Repair Engineer (f/m) to join Airbus Customer Services based in Toulouse, France.

Your challenges
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Answering daily repair queries related to design and documentation in liaison with partner design office for all schedule maintenances activities;
- Liaising with Design Offices to ensure requested repair definitions and justifications are timely available;
- Liaising with the spare parts organization for repair parts availability;
- Initiating updating of structure repair documentation;
- Assisting operators on site for structure damage evaluation, and/or repair embodiment (experienced staff);
- Ensuring information flow to and from operators for repair matters;
- Providing Engineering support to other Customer Services departments and Teams based in Toulouse and other countries - Regional Teams;
- Ensuring transfer of in-service experience and maintenance activities to the management, to other divisions of Customer Services and Airbus design organization including vendors;
- Establishing and Improving customer relationship: coordinating regular reviews and exchanging information to give visibility of our capacities, resources and solutions.
- Acting as customer focal point ensuring clear communications between the operator, MRO, lessors, and the AIRBUS Network, supporting regular meetings, Technical and Executive Meetings and Improvement of Operational Aspects.
- Acting as focal points for projects that are inteded to develop the operation of the whole team - improving the different repair stages for the dossiers managed in the repair domain.
This role will also involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly (generally not more than twice per year).
Your boarding pass
- Qualified Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience, with knowledge in aircraft structures design and stress and with general knowledge of composite materials and metallurgy;
- Good presentation skills, both oral and written;
- Knowledge of other languages apart from English is a plus
- Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience in Structural Repairs.
- Knowledge and experience in MRO environment
- Airline operations.
- MRO operations
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Professional skills:
- High interest/experience in working with extensive and highly integrated electronic data processing systems.
- Understand Customer needs and operational context.
- Experienced in Customer Services business, preferably in the civil aeronautical field.
- Work experience in an MRO would be a plus.
- Soft Skill:
- Highly concerned by Customer Service and Service minded.
- Ability to cope with a highly demanding environment.
- Good coordination and relational skills to deal with:
- Customers,
- Design Offices,
- Vendors and
- other Airbus departments.
- Capacity to adapt to specific demands.
- Team player.
