Customer Support / Account Manager

Location: Remote (Johannesburg or Cape Town)
Salary: R18,000 – R23,000 per month
Working Hours: UK Hours (8 AM‑4 PM or 9 AM‑5 PM)

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Customer Support / Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is key to delivering a first‑class service to our customers, from the point of sale through to onboarding and long‑term account management. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.

This is a remote position, open to candidates based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town, who can work UK hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts from the point of sale, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and building long‑term relationships.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover and after‑sales process.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any concerns to ensure client retention.
  • Provide support, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance to clients, helping them fully utilise our products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Meet and exceed targets related to client retention and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer support, account management, or sales support role.
  • Previous experience as an estate agent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Comfortable and confident when speaking with clients regularly.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable using various software tools.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media, website management, or design tools is a plus.
