Description

• A well-established organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst II to join its dynamic Information Security team.
• The selected candidate will focus on the configuration and monitoring of various security platforms to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information systems.
• This role requires a proactive individual capable of identifying and mitigating security threats effectively.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in configuring and monitoring information security platforms.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Antivirus/EDR, encryption, vulnerability testing, firewalls, web proxies, patch management, logging/auditing, identity access management systems, and network security.
• Strong understanding of network security, TCP/IP, and associated protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery or offsite equipment support.
• On-call support 24/7 with a 30-minute response window as needed.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.

Desired Skills

• Experience providing guidance and support to junior security analysts.
• Familiarity with the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technological advancements.

Compensation

• Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
• Pay Range: $63,000 - $90,000/Year
