Requirements
- We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field. This experience can include a combination of professional roles, internships, lab work, or coursework. You should have experience with one or more of the following: SIEM systems, network security tools, log analysis tools, cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies, operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
- A DoD 8570 IAT-II certification is also required.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of system vulnerability analysis and security testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple projects effectively
- Ability to multitask, work both independently and as part of a team, handle pressure
- Experience with Splunk SPL searches and dashboarding
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for security software and hardware, ensuring compliance with all security policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in threat hunting and detection efforts, analyze malicious behaviors, and develop and communicate technical security reports.
- Advise management of security risks and perform required Continuous Monitoring tasks.
