Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Engineer who is eager to innovate and enhance our security posture. If you possess expertise in designing and implementing security solutions, along with managing DMZ frameworks, IPSec setups, and Nexus vPC architectures, we encourage you to apply!

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions utilizing protocols such as BGP, VxLAN, SD-WAN, SDN, EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, and Segment Routing.
• Develop and oversee DMZ architectures, IPSec configurations, and Nexus vPC setups.
• Integrate MacSEC technology to bolster data security measures.
• Monitor and optimize quality of service (QoS) traffic shaping to ensure efficient performance.
• Work with Cisco Nexus hardware to maintain high levels of network reliability.
• Engage collaboratively on projects involving Wireless LAN Controllers, Arista Velo Cloud, Arista Cloud Vision, and RADIUS as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience with Cisco Nexus hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of protocols including BGP, VxLAN, SD-WAN, SDN, EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, and Segment Routing.
• Hands-on experience in DMZ design, IPSec architecture, and MacSEC implementation.
• Strong understanding of QoS traffic shaping techniques.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Wireless LAN Controllers, Arista Velo Cloud, Arista Cloud Vision, and RADIUS.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves sedentary work with extended periods of sitting.
• Candidates should be able to use a computer for prolonged periods, including repetitive typing, clicking, and viewing screen content.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $65 - $71 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to a 401k retirement account. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by law.
