Responsibilities

Your Mission:

• As a sparring partner for management, you actively shape the secure software architecture of the products – and ensure that regulatory requirements such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act are not only met but meaningfully implemented.
• You identify risks before they become problems and develop pragmatic, effective solutions.
• You drive security reviews, code analyses, and best practices, thereby sustainably increasing the security level.

Your Scope of Action:

• You strategically develop the information security management system (e.g., according to ISO 27001).
• You define security standards, develop guidelines, and ensure that they are lived out in everyday life.

Your Responsibility:

• You coordinate and manage the handling of security incidents – from reaction to sustainable improvement.
• You strengthen security awareness in the company through training and clear communication.
• You support audits and certifications and ensure successful implementation.
• You work closely with other cyber security teams and actively drive exchange within the company.
• You report directly to the management.

Qualifications

Your Education:

• You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training/further education in computer science, IT security, software engineering, or similar qualifications.

Your Professional Experience:

• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in information security, IT infrastructures, and relevant standards (ISO 27001) as well as cyber security, software architecture, and regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act.
• Basic knowledge of programming (e.g., C/C++)
• Deep understanding of the business processes of the respective institution.

Your Personality:

• Your analytical thinking, high willingness to learn, agility, team spirit, and high level of confidentiality complete your profile.
• Fluent German and communication-level English skills.
