About the Role
SAIC is seeking a highly-qualified Cyber Security Manager to fulfill the role of Chief Cyber Security Engineer supporting the ABMS Digital Infrastructure Network Designer & Deployer program. This individual will serve as the technical authority and strategist for ensuring compliance and securing all aspects of the network architecture.
This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and compliant cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data, defend against emerging threats, and ensure the integrity and availability of the network infrastructure.
The position is remote with up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and compliant cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data, defend against emerging threats, and ensure the integrity and availability of the network infrastructure.
- Integrating advanced security technologies into the network design.
- Establishing strict policies for access control and data protection.
- Overseeing compliance with DoD, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with project goals.
- Mentoring cybersecurity team members.
- Providing oversight of security testing, monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure a resilient and secure network deployment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Masters Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 8 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 10 years experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in design and deployment projects, and the ability to foster collaboration across technical teams. U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Network &/or Security Operations Center experience and familiarity with the DoW's acquisition and test enterprise. Experience with carrier class networks, cloud infrastructure/operations and cross domain solutions.
- CISSP, CySA, CISM, & or CASP+ certifications.
Salary
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Travel
Up to 25% travel
