Cyber Security Specialist (Information Security Analyst - SME)

Active Secret Clearance Required

Preferred location for all roles is Ft. Belvoir, VA

Local candidates preferred but open to remote. For those local, work will be hybrid and will need to be at office when tasks require it (ex. Working in SIPR)

Responsibilities:

•As a Security Specialist, your role is to protect an organization's information systems and assets from potential threats and breaches. You will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and developing security policies and procedures.

•Your skillset should include proficiency in security technologies (such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software), knowledge of security frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS), expertise in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, experience in incident response and handling, and the ability to stay updated on the latest security trends and threats.

•With your skills, you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment, mitigating risks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information.

•Possession of Security+ or equivalent

•NIST Cybersecurity Framework;

•Incident Response Operations
