Cybersecurity Business Analyst

My client is looking for a Cybersecurity Business Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their organisation in Limerick. This is a permanent role.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working within an ISO 27001 (or similar) compliance framework and supporting ISMS activities
• Strong understanding of information security principles, governance, and risk management practices
• Experience in business analysis or digital analyst roles, including requirements gathering and process mapping
• Excellent documentation, organisation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Familiarity with audit processes (internal/external), risk assessments, and compliance reporting
• Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and secure data handling practices (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance, maturity, and continuous improvement of the organisation's ISMS framework
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and tracking remediation actions
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk treatment planning and control implementation
• Maintain ISMS documentation, policies, and governance records to ensure compliance
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, gather requirements, and ensure digital initiatives align with security standards
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance overall compliance performance
