As a Cybersecurity Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in guiding government clients through the complex procedures required for obtaining and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) certifications for their information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing your deep knowledge of government cybersecurity standards to monitor, analyze, and respond to potential security incidents and threats effectively.
  • Ensuring that client systems meet rigorous security requirements necessary for ATO compliance, aligned with government-specific cybersecurity regulations.
  • Conducting thorough security assessments and risk analyses tailored to government system compliance, identifying vulnerabilities and threats particular to government systems.
  • Monitoring security systems, logs, and network activity with a focus on government cybersecurity guidelines to detect suspicious activity and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain security measures compliant with government standards, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption, and access controls, while investigating security incidents for root cause and impact analysis.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive incident response plans that cover containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst focusing on Government System ATO support, showcasing deep understanding of ATO principles and methodologies.
  • Strong background in government regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to ATO (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Proven experience achieving and maintaining ATO for cloud solutions from IL5 to IL6+ across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
  • Expertise in incident response, security incident management, and forensic analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency with government-specific ATO assessment tools and vulnerability scanning technologies.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification to meet DoD 8140 standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Security Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Compensation

As mandated by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable compensation ranges based on labor costs across various states including California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position within these areas is $117,300-$145,100 USD.
