Position Overview
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site.
Responsibilities
- This role examines data from different sources with the goal of providing insight into organizational security processes and information systems.
- Analysts design, document, and implement custom algorithms, workflow processes, and large data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.
Required Clearance
- OF-306 background check (#clearable)
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL). (Candidates must pass an SPL assessment.)
- At least 1 year of experience performing statistical analysis on large data sets.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate statistical analysis such as identifying the standard deviation of a large data set.
- In doing so, the candidate can use any tool such as spreadsheet software, database software, business intelligence and visualization tools, or programming languages and platforms. However, candidates may not utilize LLM or AI‑assisted solutions such as ChatGPT.
Desired Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 1 year of that experience in data analysis.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills.
Compensation
- Our Cybersecurity Data Analyst's earn between $98,100 - $190,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
