Job Description

The Cybersecurity Engineer – Asset & Risk Management is responsible for securing the organization’s IT asset landscape by ensuring visibility, compliance, and risk mitigation across all systems, especially end-of-life (EOL) assets. This role combines cybersecurity engineering with asset lifecycle governance to identify risks, drive remediation strategies, and support regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain visibility and inventory of IT assets, including EOL systems
  • Identify and assess security risks related to outdated or unsupported assets
  • Coordinate with IT Service Owners (ITSOs) to define remediation plans (modernization, decommissioning, containerization)
  • Track and ensure timely completion of remediation actions with defined timelines
  • Align asset data with vulnerability management and security tools
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and report on risk posture, EOL exposure, and remediation progress
  • Support audits by providing asset and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security and lifecycle risks
  • Recommend improvements for asset lifecycle governance and risk mitigation
