Responsibilities: Monitor security systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, for security incidents. Analyze security alerts and events to identify and assess potential threats. Investigate security incidents, determine the scope and impact, and initiate appropriate response actions. Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks. Implement and manage security controls to protect company assets and data. Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and patch management. Conduct security awareness training for employees. Generate regular reports on security status, incidents, and remediation efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis. Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and EDR solutions. Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors. Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations.
