About the Role
Our client, a leading organisation in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Business Analyst with 5+ years’ experience. This role will play a key part in supporting and optimising their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, ensuring it aligns with fast-paced operational and commercial demands.
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving system improvements and enabling efficient, scalable processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across finance, supply chain, and operations
- Translate business needs into functional specifications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Configure and support core modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver system enhancements and integrations
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions across the business
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support successful delivery of solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in a high-volume FMCG environment
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing system support
- Manage system changes, upgrades, and releases
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and alignment with business processes
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within ERP environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV)
- Solid understanding of finance, supply chain, and operational processes
- Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with integrations, APIs, and third-party systems
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
Desirable Skills
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Business Central Functional Consultant)
- Knowledge of data analysis or SQL
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience working in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments
