About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Business Analyst with 5+ years’ experience. This role will play a key part in supporting and optimising their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, ensuring it aligns with fast-paced operational and commercial demands.

You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving system improvements and enabling efficient, scalable processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across finance, supply chain, and operations
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Configure and support core modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver system enhancements and integrations
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions across the business
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support successful delivery of solutions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in a high-volume FMCG environment
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing system support
  • Manage system changes, upgrades, and releases
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and alignment with business processes

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within ERP environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV)
  • Solid understanding of finance, supply chain, and operational processes
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with integrations, APIs, and third-party systems
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Business Central Functional Consultant)
  • Knowledge of data analysis or SQL
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience working in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments
