What to Expect

• Automation & AI Projects: You will implement automation and AI projects with the goal of supporting data-driven decisions and intelligently optimizing processes.
• Data & AI Pipelines: You will develop, operate, and monitor data and AI pipelines, from data integration to productive deployment.
• AI Engineering & MLOps: You will adapt, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models, ensure quality through experiments/validation, and organize re-training and monitoring.
• Integration into Applications: You will integrate data and AI models into productive applications (e.g., via APIs) and ensure a robust, scalable implementation.
• Data Engineering: You will advise on data architecture and integration issues, model data, and provide data products for analysis and reporting applications.
• Collaboration & Enablement: You will work closely with product, DevOps, and platform teams, participate in code reviews/pair programming, and help build sustainable data & AI competencies.

What You Bring

• Expertise: You have a completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge: You have very good knowledge of Python (including object-oriented programming). You also have basic knowledge of AI agents (Agentic Workflows, Agent Systems) and Machine Learning, as well as the motivation to deepen your understanding of the entire ML lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring).
• Experience: Experience with version control (Git) characterizes your profile, as does practical experience in data processing and analysis (e.g., Pandas/NumPy) and a solid foundation in statistics/probabilities. You have experience with databases and data modeling/ETL processes and ideally have had initial contact with cloud data platforms. Furthermore, you bring experience with Natural Language Processing techniques (LLM, RAG).
• Certifications (Advantageous): A certification is desirable, e.g., Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100), or Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700).
• Language Skills: Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
