Overview

You will work in an agile development team on modern integrations for large language models and context orchestration. You will receive a lot of creative freedom, flat decision-making processes, and real learning opportunities in the area of model integration and agent architectures. You can bring your own development environment and hardware and work with current technology groups such as backend technologies (Python, Go, Java), web stacks (TypeScript, Node.js), and LLM integrations (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic, Cohere). The role offers a steep learning curve, regular feedback, and the opportunity to accompany product-related prototypes to production readiness. The location is Mönchengladbach with good accessibility and flexible working models.

Your Tasks

• Develop and implement integration components for LLM APIs and agent frameworks based on model-context approaches.
• Build backend interfaces with frameworks like FastAPI or Node.js and orchestrate function calls.
• Design retrieval and RAG pipelines using vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Optimize model workflows and tool-calling scenarios to automate context and agent processes.
• Collaborate interdisciplinarily with product, QA, and UX to transfer prototypes into productive solutions.
• Document implementations and create understandable status reports for the team.
• Utilize modern collaboration and planning tools for coordination with internal interfaces.

Your Profile

• Completed university degree or comparable qualification with a technical focus.
• Very good knowledge in Python or TypeScript and initial practical project experience.
• Experience with LLM APIs, agent architectures, or MCP-like frameworks.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of vector databases and retrieval-based pipelines.
• Works independently, solution-oriented, and brings team spirit to agile processes.
• Very good German and good English skills for technical documentation.
