Your Role and Responsibilities

We are excited to announce an opening for a Solution Architect focused on Data & AI to join Neudesic's Regional Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Data & AI, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying intricate Data & Analytics Solutions on Cloud platforms, particularly on Azure. This role is essential as it involves client interaction and collaboration with market leaders for both technical pursuits and delivery oversight. Strong technical implementation skills are essential to guide and support team members across various experience levels, both onshore and offshore. Success in this position requires the ability to lead teams through effective execution across multiple industries while instilling confidence in our customers during the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership by gathering business requirements and recommending architectural solutions on Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premise or hybrid cloud implementations. Drive best practices through design, development, testing, and final integration with the project team.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to data warehouse architecture principles, data transformation and processing methods (ELT, ETL), and reporting practices.
• The Solution Architect is not only a technical leader but also responsible for project success. Build partnerships with clients, foster relationships, and ensure a positive engagement experience for both customers and the project team. Address challenges proactively and maintain a conducive work environment.
• Utilize Neudesic's Intellectual Property during implementations and become a leader in enhancing operational efficiency and delivery consistency for our clients.
• Gain an understanding of the client's business to innovate technology solutions that address their challenges and opportunities. Spot areas to offer further services beyond data & analytics when applicable.
• Collaborate with clients to support the sales process. Define project scope and requirements, and conceptualize a comprehensive view of the solution including architecture, deliverables, resources, timeline, and budget.

As of February 9, 2022, Neudesic has been acquired by IBM and is integrating into the IBM organization. The recruitment process will be managed by IBM, which will also be the designated hiring entity.

This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience delivering Data & Analytics solutions in a consulting or contracting environment.
• In-depth technical expertise across various technologies for Data & Analytics solutions on the Microsoft platform, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to architect Enterprise Data & Analytics Solutions on the Azure platform while adhering to established strategies to deliver results efficiently.
• Experience in sales support roles, adept at envisioning optimal solutions tailored to customer needs and drafting estimates, proposals, and Statements of Work for project execution.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.

Technology Requirements:

• Experience with Azure implementations, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Azure Automation, Azure Key Vault, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AutoML PowerShell, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration/Development pipelines.
• Experience with on-premise technologies such as SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis, and SQL Server Reporting Services.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Microsoft Azure Certified - Azure Data Engineer.
• Familiarity with Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience with front-end tool implementations such as Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, etc.
• Experience with competing cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
