About the role

Position Overview

The Data Analyst / Informaticist 2 plays a critical role by coordinating with analytics, IT, and business teams to ensure that work is driven by subject matter experts. The role leverages advanced knowledge in data, modeling, and optimization to predict behavior and improve program outcomes. You will develop systems, perform analysis, create reports, and present results while supporting medication adherence initiatives, including efforts related to Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into decision-making.
  • Develop and implement medication adherence methodologies using SAS.
  • Develop systems, perform analyses, create reports, and present findings for various initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced and predictive modeling techniques to optimize programs and products.
  • Follow established guidelines and exercise independent judgment when faced with ambiguous situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience
  • Proficient in coding with Python, SAS, and/or C++ and experienced in data mining and predictive modeling
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to use diverse problem solving, research, and analysis tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science
  • Experience developing data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark or Spark SQL) and with Spark optimization
  • Ability to work within the Eastern time zone
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Databricks, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Six Sigma certification

  • Compensation: $73,400 - $100,100 per year with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
