• Overview of existing work on progressive visualization and incremental updates in the analysis of spatial and geospatial data.
• Analyze how geospatial map views are interconnected and updated in current progressive visualization systems.
• Identification of user-related challenges regarding update frequency, synchronization, and cognitive overload.
• Investigation of existing mechanisms for prioritizing, coordinating, or filtering updates across linked views.
• Exploration of design strategies for managing progressive updates in geospatial visualizations.
• Conceptual design or prototypical implementation of corresponding mechanisms.
