Job Description

AbbVie France is recruiting a Data Analyst reporting to the Head of Data, Analytics & Solutions. Within the Data & Analytics unit, each project begins with gathering business needs and results in concrete recommendations to guide strategic decisions.

Your role will be to explore, transform, and analyze data to make it usable, and to translate these analyses into operational and strategic recommendations.

As a Data Analyst, you will be at the heart of this dynamic, with a key role to:

  • Understand HCP behaviors from multi-source data,
  • Identify levers for personalizing journeys,
  • Support sales and marketing teams in activating customer-oriented strategies.

Your Main Responsibilities

  1. Analytical Dimension (50%)
  • Design, automate, and evolve dashboards for monitoring commercial and medical performance (Excel, SQL, BI).
  • Ensure the measurement and analysis of field performance (coverage indicators, frequency, multichannel, campaign ROI).
  • Develop analyses to better understand healthcare professional segments (attitudinal segmentation, adoption ladder, dynamic targeting).
  • Implement indicators to track the performance of personalized journeys and their business impact.
  • Evaluate the relevance of content and channels used in multichannel campaigns.
  • Identify optimization levers through ad hoc analyses and deliver insights to business teams.
  • Conduct analytical and sectoral watch on new trends (VM, MSL, hybrid channels, pharma industry organization).
  1. Project & Business Partnering Dimension (30%)
  • Structure and write Business Cases: identify the problem, formulate hypotheses, conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, provide strategic recommendations, and monitor implementation.
  • Partner with business teams (Marketing, Sales, Access...) to support them in data exploitation.
  • Contribute to strategic cross-functional projects involving multiple departments.
  1. Development & Sharing (20%)
  • Capitalize on best practices, share analytical approaches and methodologies within the team.
  • Collaborate with other Business Partners and Data Analysts in an international environment.
  • Continuously build expertise through business and data training.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) (engineering school, business school, university) with a specialization in Data, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
  • Successful experience (2 to 4 years) in data analysis / business analysis, ideally in a data-intensive sector (health, consulting, consumer goods, tech…).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and ideally a BI tool (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau, Foundry…).
  • Strong appetite for data and ability to transform it into clear business stories.
  • Rigor, synthesis skills, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Professional English proficiency.
  • A strong interest in the healthcare field and data innovation is a significant plus.
