About the role

About

Data is at the core of what we deliver for a growing number of our clients — and we need someone who can turn raw, messy data into clear, reliable insights. You’ll work across dashboards, pipelines, and reporting setups, and you’ll be the person clients trust to make sense of their numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Define data dictionaries, KPIs, and metric hierarchies with clients and stakeholders
  • Write and optimise SQL queries across relational and cloud data warehouses
  • Build data transformation pipelines and automation flows
  • Design and build interactive dashboards with drill‑downs, filters, and cross‑source blending
  • Integrate data from REST APIs and third‑party platforms
  • Normalise and clean raw data — handle deviations, nulls, and schema inconsistencies
  • Apply GDPR and data privacy best practices when handling client data
  • Set up data quality monitoring and alerting
  • Document data models, transformation logic, and dashboard usage for clients

Requirements

Personality

  • You’re comfortable sitting with messy data and bringing order to it
  • You ask “what decision does this need to support?” before you build anything
  • You explain data clearly to people who don’t live in spreadsheets
  • You’re rigorous about accuracy — you double‑check, you validate, you question anomalies
  • You manage expectations well when data is incomplete or ambiguous

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering
  • Strong SQL skills across one or more platforms (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or similar)
  • Experience building dashboards in a BI tool (Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase, or similar)
  • Familiarity with REST API data ingestion
  • Good understanding of analytics concepts: funnels, cohorts, attribution, KPI design
  • Awareness of GDPR and data handling responsibilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with workflow automation tools for data pipelines (n8n, Airflow, or similar)
  • Python for data transformation scripts
  • Familiarity with marketing and CRM platform APIs
  • Knowledge of cloud data warehouses and scheduled query jobs

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Google Data Analytics, dbt, or BigQuery certifications are a plus
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
