Data Analyst

About

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support the Data Migration department. In this role, you will work in a software engineering team on the further development of data migration services to connect new customers to existing tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data structures and datasets using SQL queries.
• Identify dependencies and specify mapping logic for data transformations in collaboration with product teams and customers.
• Define test scenarios to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the entire migration process.
• Analyze error patterns and develop solutions within the team.
• Create KPI dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or Business Administration with IT focus (University/University of Applied Sciences/Higher Vocational School).
• Several years of practical experience in data analysis with SQL.
• Very good analytical thinking and understanding of complex relationships.
• Experience in specifying data migrations and data transformations.
• Experience in defining and conducting test scenarios for data quality assurance.
• Experience in creating KPI dashboards and reports.
• Strong communication skills and audience-appropriate presentation of content.
• Confident demeanor and solution-oriented, pragmatic approach.
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills.

Project Duration

Until the end of 2026 (with option for extension)
