BI Data Analyst – Project Management Office

About the Role

Strengthening BI capabilities to support reporting, data quality, and analytics demands across Finance, Planning, and Project Management. The position is opened for BI team growth and replacement needs. Location: Saint‑Ouen / Paris.

The BI Data Analyst ensures reliable reporting, data consistency, and analytics capabilities across PMO, Finance, and Planning. The role contributes to BI governance, documentation, and the progressive internalization of BI expertise, supporting Alstom’s digital and data transformation objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Write and optimize SQL queries.
• Improve data models (star schema, fact/dimension).
• Support data validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate needs into BI solutions.
• Contribute to BI governance and documentation.
• Assist in the internalization of BI expertise within the organization.

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience in BI/Data Analysis.
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills.
• Experience with data modelling (star schema, fact/dimension).
• Understanding of financial KPIs.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Fluent in English and French.
