Overview
Operations Performance Management & Development is at the heart of SWISS’ operations, contributing to insights‑based decision making and continuous performance improvements of our airline operations. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in data analysis and airline operations.

Tasks
As a Data Analyst Intern you will support running data projects, ad‑hoc analysis, and have the chance to get a glimpse of how we use and enhance the operational data landscape of a global airline.
- Provide valuable data‑driven insights supporting decision‑making within SWISS’ Operations & Steering team
- Create data visualizations, reporting, and interactive dashboards
- Create insightful analysis to help quantifying key drivers to optimize SWISS’ operational performance
- Contribute to our operational data landscape & support automation
- Foster data democratization and self‑service capabilities across the company
- Collaborate and effectively communicate data insights across various stakeholders from SWISS Operations departments
Requirements
- Workload Specification: For this position, a 100 % workload is preferred
- Knowledge in SQL coding, good command of at least one programming language (R or Python preferred)
- HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters) in an analytical subject, e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics or related fields
- Data science and/or data engineering background is an advantage
- Ability to work independently, yet a team‑player with strong communication, and social skills
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills; competences in analysis and management presentations
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and Excel
- Very good English communication skills are required. German and every other language is a plus

- EUR 500 – 1500 per month

Requirements
