Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting

In this role you turn complex regulatory data into clear insights that guide risk and compliance decisions at Kraken. You will own end-to-end data management—from pipelines to dashboards—supporting regulators and leadership in a fast-scrutiny environment. You collaborate across engineering, analytics, and compliance to automate processes and deliver audit-ready analytics that shape regulatory direction. This is a remote, cross-functional role at a mission-driven crypto pioneer.

• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions, governance controls, and workflows
• Develop scalable, audit-ready data models from large datasets to support reporting and analytics
• Translate regulatory and business requests into accurate reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT and Airflow
• Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams to maintain high-quality data pipelines
• Coordinate client data quality monitoring, identify issues, and drive remediation in collaboration with responsible teams
• Support ad-hoc data requests for audits, exams, risk assessments, and day-to-day needs
• Deliver data-driven storytelling to influence compliance direction and decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis and data management in financial services or a regulated industry with hands-on experience in AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID
