ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a results-driven Data Analyst to help turn ConnectNigeria’s platform data into revenue-generating insights.
This role goes beyond reporting—you will:
Identify where money is being made (and lost)
Optimize lead generation and conversion
Help scale ConnectNigeria into a data-powered marketplace

Vendor acquisition & performance
User engagement & retention

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Revenue Analytics & Optimization
Analyze revenue streams (Quote Requests, listings, ads)
Identify high-performing categories (e.g., events, logistics, real estate)
Recommend pricing strategies (e.g., cost per lead, premium listings)

2. Quote Request Funnel Optimization (CRITICAL)
Track:
Requests → Vendor responses → Closed deals
Identify bottlenecks in the funnel
Improve conversion rates through insights
Goal: Increase lead-to-revenue conversion

3. User Behavior & Demand Analysis
Analyze search queries and user intent
Identify top-demand services and trends
Provide insights for:
Content strategy
Vendor onboarding focus

4. Vendor Performance Analytics
Track vendor response rates, win rates, and activity
Build a vendor scoring/ranking system
Identify:
Top performers (to promote)
Low performers (to optimize or remove)

5. Growth & Marketing Insights
Analyze traffic sources (SEO, social, direct)
Measure which channels drive:
Leads
Paying vendors
Recommend data-driven marketing strategies

6. Dashboard & Reporting
Build and maintain real-time dashboards for:
Daily leads
Revenue by category
Conversion rates
Present insights weekly to leadership

7. Data-Driven Product Improvements
Work with product & engineering teams
Recommend improvements to:
UX/UI
Quote Request flow
Vendor onboarding

8. Predictive & Strategic Analysis (Advanced)
Forecast demand trends (seasonal, category-based)
Identify expansion opportunities (cities, industries)
Support long-term revenue strategy

REQUIRED SKILLS
Technical:
SQL (must-have)
Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)
Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
Experience with web/app analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)

Ability to translate data into business decisions
Experience working with marketplace or platform data (preferred)

2–5+ years experience in Data Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Business Intelligence

Background in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
