SQL Server / SSRS Developer

About

We are seeking a skilled SQL Server / SSRS Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of complex reporting and database solutions within a Microsoft SQL Server environment.

The role involves working closely with large and complex data models, ensuring high-performance reporting and data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise complex reports in a Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) environment
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries (T-SQL)
• Create, maintain, and optimise SQL views, stored procedures, and functions
• Perform query and database performance tuning
• Work with and understand complex data models

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Very strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL)
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
• Solid understanding of complex relational data models

Nice to Have

• Microsoft SQL Server administration experience, including:
  • Replication
  • Clustering
• Experience with Data Warehouse environments
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript

Work Arrangement

• 100% remote (Germany-based role, aligned with Heidelberg operations)
