Analytics Engineer - Power BI

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a recognized group in the luxury sector, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer to strengthen a team working on a comprehensive analytics program. In a context of migration from a Power BI environment to a modern architecture based on GCP, dbt, BigQuery, and Looker, you will play a key role in the continuity and evolution of reporting solutions. You will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and development of Power BI dashboards, working closely with business departments, champions, and technical teams. Once the environment's stability is ensured, you will gradually contribute to building the new architecture. This position is part of an agile environment undergoing digital transformation.

Main Tasks

• Ensuring the stability and availability of Power BI reporting
• Maintenance, development, and enhancement of existing dashboards
• Managing incidents and ensuring the continuity of BI services
• Capturing and analyzing business requirements in reporting and analytics
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and champions
• Prioritizing requests and coordinating developments with teams for the gradual migration to the new GCP architecture
• Contributing to the development of data models using dbt and BigQuery
• Participating in the creation of analyses and dashboards in Looker
• Supporting users in developing their usage

We are looking for a profile that meets the following criteria:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a BI or Analytics Engineering role
• Solid experience with Power BI
• Good command of SQL and databases
• Knowledge of dbt, BigQuery, GCP, and Looker
• Good understanding of reporting and analytics processes
• Ability to manage run topics and projects simultaneously
• Confidence in communicating with business and technical teams
• Excellent communication skills and service orientation
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and adaptability
• Experience in a luxury, retail, or industrial environment is a plus
• Professional French and English required
