About the role

As a Data/Information Management Intermediate Analyst at Citi, you will be a developing professional dealing with most problems independently and having the latitude to solve complex issues. Your role will involve integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards, applying analytical thinking, and utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies. **Responsibilities**: - **Remediation Analysis**: Execute comprehensive data remediation approach on customer issues arising from policy gaps, self-identification, or IA observations. - **Impact Assessment**: Identify the size of customers and the monetary impact due to these issues. - **Issue Management & Root Cause Analysis**: Identify and analyze issues and their causes using analytical methods. - **Audit Support**: Track implementation plans, provide data evidence, and artifacts for audit completion. - Deliver routine outputs while developing a broader understanding of the work context.

**Qualifications**: - 5-8 years of relevant experience - Strategic thinking and ability to engage external resources to achieve objectives - Proficiency in analytic tools like SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS, etc. - Experience with big data and machine learning tools such as R, Python is a plus.

**Tools and Platforms**: - Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis - Proficiency in SAS, SQL, RDBMS - Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Jira, Bitbucket

**Domain Skills**: - Understanding of banking domain and consumer products preferred

In addition, the role requires a Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering or MBA from a premier institute. Overall experience of 5-8 years in a Data Analyst role, with experience in the banking industry considered a plus.
