We are in search of a talented Data Analytics Team Manager. This position involves building, leading, and nurturing high-performing analytics teams to create solutions that leverage data management, operations research, machine learning, statistics, business intelligence, and low-code automation to meet the needs of internal initiatives and government projects.

Please note: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced analysis and develop innovative tools that facilitate digital transformation initiatives.
  • Mentor team members in data management, operations research, machine learning, statistics, business intelligence, and low-code automation techniques (e.g., Power Platform).
  • Collaborate with program managers, data scientists, data engineers, cybersecurity staff, and customer stakeholders to convert mission and business requirements into effective technical data solutions.
  • Aid capture and proposal initiatives by defining analytics strategies, estimating effort levels, and communicating technical solutions for government proposals.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for automation, digital tools, and data visualization to empower informed decision-making among clients.
  • Provide technical direction and risk management for multiple programs to guarantee consistent delivery of analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Current Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, operations research, data science, or a similar technical field.
  • 10 years of additional experience may replace a STEM degree.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in data analytics, data science, operations research, or related fields, including 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Practical experience with analytics and automation technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Understanding of AI concepts and their applications in data analytics, including benefits, risks, and ethical issues.
  • Familiarity with probability, statistics, simulation, optimization, machine learning, and heuristics within model development.
  • Knowledge of data management frameworks, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with data management maturity assessments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating complex technical ideas for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience implementing solutions under government regulations, with a focus on compliance, documentation, and operational excellence.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing technical proposals, white papers, or solution architectures for government clients.
  • Possession of Security+ certification or similar cyber qualifications.
