About
Our client requires the services of a Data Architect to assist with ongoing workload within the Data Team. The Data Architect will be responsible for a full range of activities to ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of data services. The responsibilities include supporting data requirement analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions to ensure data requirements are captured and assessed for compatibility with appropriate tools and processes to perform complex data analysis, visualizations, and reporting for the client.
Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for the overall data architecture, continuous development, operation, and maintenance of data services and analytic tools;
- Acquire stakeholder requirements and envision optimal data solutions that encourage long‑term compatibility, scalability and maintainability;
- Design and implement data products including data models, dashboards and visualizations required to meet the organization’s objectives;
- Develop and apply standardization methods to integrate data from numerous sources into corporate data systems, ensuring data integrity and interoperability with existing corporate applications and business intelligence solutions;
- Manage the BI dependency plan, job scheduling and product release‑cycle;
- Monitor performance and business use of data systems to identify areas of opportunities for optimization and enhancements;
- Monitor industry trends, identifying and evaluating emerging data technologies, services, standards and strategies;
- Promote the benefit of standardized business intelligence tools and methodologies across the organization;
- Implement effective metadata management processes and oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, and data quality;
- Develop and implement data governance and data security strategies, adhering to compliance requirements;
- Work closely with IT team, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure the data architecture aligns with and supports business requirements;
- Assess the impact of new business requirements on the existing data architecture and suggest suitable solutions; and
- Use Microsoft Azure services for data storage, data integration, data processing, and analytics as required.
Qualifications
Additional Resource Requirements
The Proposed Assigned Persons (Resources) should have the following requirements, at a minimum:
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics Stacks;
- Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining;
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions;
- Familiarity with modern data technologies and ETL tools;
- Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools;
- Proficiency in SQL and other data languages;
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; and
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
