Your Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and operation of modern data architectures for NLP and LLM-based applications
• Building and optimizing scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Developing solutions in the areas of LLMs, Embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graphs, and Text-to-SQL
• Close collaboration with clients to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensuring data quality, security, and governance along the entire data value chain
• Building and operating scalable data infrastructures in cloud environments, as well as automating deployments and monitoring
• Consulting on data architectures, technologies, and best practices
• Supporting and mentoring team members, as well as active knowledge sharing within the team

Your Profile

• Completed studies in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
• Sound knowledge of modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses) as well as ETL/ELT processes and data modeling
• Experience in the field of NLP applications and ideally with LLMs, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, or Semantic Layers
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) as well as modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD processes
• Very good programming skills in Python and SQL
• Understanding of data governance, data protection, and security requirements
• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to communicate complex requirements understandably
• Very good English skills as well as good German skills
