The Role

• Lead site-based delivery across large-scale data centre construction projects
• Drive site safety and quality standards in line with project and company requirements
• Manage programme delivery, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Manage subcontractors, tracking progress, performance, and staffing levels
• Control and monitor project costs including labour, materials, plant, and variations
• Chair site meetings, project reviews, and coordination sessions
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed, including snagging and project close-out
• Support project reporting, highlighting progress, risks, and key updates
• Work closely with commercial teams to capture and manage variations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of full construction lifecycle from design through to handover
• Proven experience managing teams, subcontractors, and complex programmes
• Background in engineering, construction, or relevant trade/qualification
• Experience within data centres or other critical environments is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
