Data Center Engineer

• To oversee and maintain all aspects of the Bank’s Datacenters. This includes maintaining the Bank’s Datacenters programs and systems

Key Responsibilities • Monitor Datacenter status using necessary • Monitoring Application and tools. • Carry out all suggested Datacenter maintenance activities to keep the integrity of the Datacenter at 100%. • Ensure proper functioning of all Datacenters under your purview. • Monitor and enforce compliance with Datacenter policies bank wide. • Research and suggest improvement initiatives with regards to Datacenter health checks. • Monitor and ensure security of the Bank’s Datacenters. • Generate monthly capacity report. • Management of Power Equipment (UPS, AVR, Inverter) • Carry out Datacentre audit, periodically to ensure the Datacentres are healthy. Skills/Competencies • Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead, Power, Platform and Datacenter Management.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Good knowledge and understanding of banking operations • Good and Strong Working Knowledge of Power Equipment (UPS, AVR, Inverter) • Experienced in Cooling management • Relationship management • Ability to make sound and logical security judgments. • Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills • Vendor Management • Tech Savvy • Swift issue resolution. • Analytical thinking and strong written communication • Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment

Qualification & Experience

Mandatory • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Operational sciences or (any other discipline with strong Information Systems component and/or relevant IT Service Management certification) • Minimum of 4 - 8 years of IT Operations experience in a technology environment • ITIL and other professional qualification will be an added advantage

Desirable • ITIL and other related professional qualifications • Master’s Degree in relevant field • Experience supporting large-scale or highly regulated financial institution
