Job Overview

We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer – Mechanical to support operations within a mission-critical data center environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on maintaining and monitoring mechanical and cooling systems to ensure continuous, reliable operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high‑performance environment with long‑term contract potential through FY 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort third‑party contractors, vendors, and service providers on site while ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols
  • Perform routine equipment rounds and assist with initial assessments of system performance
  • Monitor mechanical, electrical, and fire and life safety systems within the data center
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities including HVAC systems such as RTU, AHU, and CRAH units
  • Perform maintenance on industrial chillers, humidifiers, fire alarms, fire pumps, and generators
  • Replace filters and perform non‑intrusive maintenance tasks
  • Respond to system alerts such as VESDA and airflow issues
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all planned and reactive work
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, compliance, and physical security policies

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a data center environment is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical or technical fields such as HVAC, electrical, or controls
  • Experience working in critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, or oil and gas facilities
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including RTU and AHU
  • Experience with industrial chillers and fire and life safety systems including fire alarms and fire pumps
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a highly regulated environment

Work Schedule

  • 12 hour day shifts
  • Rotating schedule with 3 to 4 working days per week
  • A‑side schedule is Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday
  • B‑side schedule is Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday
