Your Role

To strengthen the technical operations team, we are looking for a Data Center & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) at the Berlin location, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of modern data center infrastructures
• Installation, cabling, and commissioning of server, network, and storage systems
• Support of rack, power, and hardware components in the data center environment
• Execution and control of change and configuration management processes in 24x7 operation
• Processing, management, and documentation of standardized work orders
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults, as well as escalation to specialized support teams
• Execution and coordination of access and entry controls
• Participation in infrastructure projects and optimization of existing operational processes
• Monitoring of systems and infrastructure using common monitoring and DCIM tools

Profile

• Completed vocational training in an IT or technical field, e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration, IT-Systemelektroniker, or comparable qualification
• Experience in operating data centers or highly available IT infrastructures
• Knowledge of network, server, and storage technologies
• Experience in cable management, hardware installation, and rack infrastructure
• Ideally, knowledge in the WAN/carrier environment or with DWDM technologies
• Experience with monitoring and DCIM systems is an advantage
• Technical understanding of operational and support processes in the data center environment
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
• Good German and confident technical English skills
