Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring effective management and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Provide proactive planning and management from project inception through to completion, covering planning, design management, contract review, procurement, and construction management.
  • Coordinate project procurement and ensure all necessary regulatory permits are obtained.
  • Manage and supervise the work of design professionals, general contractors, and construction managers.
  • Develop and adhere to project budgets, timelines, and quality control plans.
  • Identify and manage internal and external risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote a culture of health and safety within the project teams.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with inspections and testing requirements.
  • Organize project meetings and disseminate vital information and action items effectively.
  • Monitor contractor progress against the project schedule, with experience in Primavera P6 being favorable.
  • Review contractors' change order requests and approve pay applications.
  • Manage project closeout and turnover documentation.
  • Interpret and understand construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.

Your Background

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 or more years of experience with teams in architecture, construction management, or facilities, particularly in public works.
  • Strong judgment skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve complex challenges.
  • A proven history of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage intricate processes and concepts.
