Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Preparation, installation of IT equipment in the data center (racks, servers, networks)
• Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of equipment: servers, switches, and routers
• Remediation and recovery of physical aspect power issues on racks
• Participate in cooling loss or data center power events
• Manage and process all customer support requests via a ticketing system
• Manage the decommissioning / recycling of equipment
• Participate in meetings, data analysis, and monitoring of high-impact cross-functional projects
• Work in close collaboration with infrastructure providers
• Reinforce AWS security best practices
• Management and optimization of spare parts inventory
• Participate in on-call rotations for sites

Requirements

• BTS or DUT in Computer Science
• 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting / repair / support of IT equipment & troubleshooting
• Experience in support / maintenance of server hardware
• Basic knowledge of networks, cabling, and fiber (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration and Data Center (preferred)
• Ability to handle heavy loads (preferred)
• Autonomous, flexible, and organized (preferred)
• Basic English (preferred)
