Data Centre Solutions Architect [JHB]

Introduction

Our client a fast growing Data Centre company requires a Data Centre Solutions Architect.

The Data Centre Solutions Architect position will be responsible for bids, technical solutions and evaluations, project management and delivery against customer’s data centre requirements.

You will assist your team in managing goals and projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality service to our customers, managing service level agreements, and resolving and documenting issues. You will manage service level metrics for delivery, and performance monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support to the sales, bids and service delivery processes.

• Design optimal technical solution, including technical drawings and database tables.

• Work with both internal and external teams to produce a technical specification for the solution’s custom development and systems integration requirements.

• Lead the scope of work determination, product pricing and RFP / RFI responses.

• Guide successful implementation and execution of system solutions.

• Ensure technical solutions accomplish the clients’ objectives.

• Provide support and guidance through the post-sales delivery cycle.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent through other qualifications / work experience.

• Successful track record in technical Pre-sales of Data Centre Solutions.

• Strong background and understanding end to one Data Centre Infrastructure.

• 5+ Years’ experience in the design of Data Centre Infrastructure Solutions.

• Appropriate accreditation / certification in Data Centres by a registered and recognized body.

• Previous exposure and demonstrable understanding of Infrastructure Solutions for Data Centre environments.
