Data Scientist / Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist / Developer role for an incentives team. This role combines advanced analytics, incentive modeling, and hands‑on backend development to standardize incentive structures. This person will support the build and maintenance of a new web‑based incentive portal, including integrating data from multiple sources, transitioning Alteryx processes to scalable AWS‑based automation, and developing backend services. As well as delivering dashboards, forecasts, and insights that drive sales channel decision‑making in an agile, AI‑first development environment.

This is a 6-month contract to hire and pays $56-$62hr.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in data science, advanced analytics, or incentive/performance modeling
• Expert-level SQL skills (T-SQL and/or Redshift SQL)
  • Including complex query writing, stored procedure development, performance tuning, and data modeling
• Design, develop, and maintain complex incentive models and performance metrics
• Strong proficiency in Python and AWS Redshift
• Build and deploy serverless microservices (Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Build and support backend systems and data integration processes
• Designing and developing data integration processes, data models, and backend systems

• Experience building or maintaining web-based analytics portals or applications
