Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-based data platforms, automation, data governance, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration from multiple sources
• Design and maintain data warehouse structures ensuring data quality and consistency
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Apply data protection measures such as masking, tokenization, and RBAC
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of large-scale data systems
• Develop automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Manage code deployments across environments including production and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building automated, cloud-based data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, DBT Cloud, Qlik Replicate
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, SQS, SNS)
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL
• Experience with Airflow (Astronomer) and orchestration tools
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)
• Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub)
• Certification in relevant data or cloud technologies
